Elegant styles

This is a hair/makeup post, and it consists of Hollywood-inspired styles, not japanese. I absolutely love japanese hairstyles, but it wouldn't hurt to get some ideas from US, etc etc, right? ;) Pictures mostly from xinmsn.

Pretty french braids, finished with an elegant fish braid, which I doubt I can ever do. But I should try it, maybe with the top half of my head.

Pretty updos. I really love updos, but it's such a pity when I look so damn unattractive (read: ugly) when my fringe in pulled away from my face. Nevertheless, I'll attempt this look with the help of dark powder to contour my flat, fat face.;)

Effortless style that I really like, but can never do with my super straight hair. I just bought a curler about a week back, so I hope I can do this! Anyway, this look is perfect for beach-y styles.

I guess the key in this look is the deep side part, which is alluring. I've been wanting to grow out my fringe, and I hope it reaches the length (to be tucked in at the ear) by March 2012! :)

To be quite honest, I never really got the appeal of Taylor Swift. Yes she's pretty, but I have always found her eyes creepy cus her tear duct area has this sharp edge, which seem to have a cat-like effect. And her jaw line is very sharp as well. But looking at this girl-next-door style, I really have nothing left to say, except to question my taste. She looks gorgeous manz.

Two pictures of her in a row, haha. That's a pretty cute curled up fringe.

Never, never got the appeal of this Twilight star. Never thought she was beautiful, attractive at all. But got to give her credit for this flawless makeup. Her eyes were accentuated with the perfect shade which brings out the hallows of her eyes. Love this clean look.

Saved this picture not for the hair, but for the perfect face makeup. I'm so in love with the flawless finish look. Bright skin, lightly contoured eyes and peachy blush. Wish that I can achieve a perfect complexion in 2012.

She looks almost like a mermaid, with perfect curls and perfect skin colour. Enough said, flawless skin is key to beauty.
